Driftwood Single Site chardonnay 2025

This comes from two blocks off the Driftwood Vineyard. It typifies the vintage in many ways, with its fine elegance and precision. The whole-bunch pressing adds a bit more weight and structure, with natural fermentation adding further complexity. There's a light lemon curd, savory combination on the palate, with a little stone fruit. But it's held quite tight and focused, and I suspect it will begin to reveal its best qualities in another three or four years.
